⭐ After an investigation by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, Instagram has agreed to make several changes to its policy to ensure that influencers clearly label posts that have been paid for or incentivised by advertisers. This is rolling out globally through the expansion of Instagram paid partnerships tool, which essentially lets creators disclose their relationship with an advertiser. It should be noted that paid partnership on Instagram can only occur through business or creator Instagram accounts (not personal accounts) and are not necessary for KOLs or influencers who are official brand ambassador or being used for a paid campaign.
